DISSIDENTEN LIVE SERIES – ‘Fiesta de la Mercè’ BARCELONA – SEPTEMBER 23, 1986

La Mercè is the annual festival of the city of Barcelona in Catalonia,
Spain. It has been an official city holiday since 1871, when the local
government first organized a program of special activities to observe
the Roman Catholic feast day of Our Lady of Mercy. In 1871, the
legendary Fiesta took place for the first time. 1986, 115 eventful years later, their friends from the local Spanish heroes La Ultima de la Fila invite Dissidenten to join them at this huge festival, one of the biggest on the Iberian Peninsula. In the evening, an audience of around 250,000 awaits the band. This liverecording and video documents part of the event.
