DISSIDENTEN 1985 EUROPEAN TOUR. More than 2000 years after the Berbers of Carthage sent Hannibal and his elephants across the Alps to defeat the Romans, and Rome in turn repelled with an attack and the destruction of Carthage, the two cities officially made peace in 1985. Dissidenten, at this time consisting of four musicians of German and two of North African Berber origin, where invited to play a concert in Rome on the occasion of the official peace ceremony.
